Frugal Living

Our family has recently become a one income family, so I am ALWAYS looking for a way to save a buck.  My old boss' wife was a coupon queen (stocked her pantry for her own family of 6, but also collected free items to donate to food shelters), and I was always amazed when I would hear stories of her getting over $200 worth of groceries for pennies.  So, when our family's income was cut in half, I started the clipping.  I am not quite at the level where family 'S' is... and I don't know that I ever will be (couponing can be time consuming), but I'm getting better at it and it's a TON of fun.  I love the challenge of it!  I will say that I have fully enjoyed getting FREE things like dish soap, food and snacks, cereal, shampoo, deodarant, lotion, toothpaste.... and the list goes on!!!  I will try to be more diligent about posting my deals and "steals" on my blog so I can share the wealth!
