Well, tomorrow's the big day. We go in at 7AM to be induced. I'm not going to lie - I'm pretty nervous - mainly about whether or not I'll end up having a C-section. Pray for Jack's health, my nerves, sanity and patience, and for Josh as he supports me through the process. Wish us luck!!
By the way, we will be at Harris Methodist HEB and Josh will be sending out an email or text when we are ready for visitors!!

Jack's Room
Our most recent project has been getting Jack's room ready for his arrival. We painted the walls a greyish blue and kept the ceilings the same beige color that it originally was. The dresser is one I found in Canton a few years ago, and was using to store all my wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, stationery, cards, and who knows what else! Now we are using it as Jack's changing table. We decided on getting a Jenny Lind crib for Jack because of cost and size (it's unbelieveable how expensive some cribs are out there). We absolutely love it now that we've seen it all put together! The bookshelf is from Nadeau, my most favorite furniture store ever! I wasn't so sure about the color when we found it, but I think it works well with the room.
A few of the girls from my church made the baby bedding. Kim helped me pick out fabrics, which ended up being completely different from what I had in mind! I love how everything turned out. Lieanne, Kim, Julie, and Elizabeth - thank you SOOO much!! You all are so talented!
My favorite part about the room is Jack's name above his crib. Josh had one of his subcontractors make the letters for us. They are made of plywood and are about 2-1/4" thick. The tallest letter measures about 16" tall. Josh did such a great job mounting them. We are still waiting to put a scripture verse up above the mirror. I'll re-post the photo once we get that up on the wall. I think it's supposed to come in sometime next week. Aunt Kristyn and Miss Gaby are going to help get it on the wall for us.
The only thing missing now is baby Jack!
About Us
Josh and I met at Texas A&M (WHOOP!) in one of our Construction Science classes - it was love at first sight... for him. Who could blame him? HA! We started dating after about 8 months of knowing each other, and were engaged about a year after that. We got married in June of 2004, just a month after we both graduated.
Josh and I both work in construction and we love what we do. We are approaching our 5 year Wedding Anniversary (it has gone by so fast!!), and are expecting our first child, Jack, in 5 days. The Lord has truly blessed our marriage in so many ways and it is amazing to see His works in our lives!!

I'm Now a "Blogger"...
Well, thanks to my wonderful and sweet friend Kristyn, Josh and I now have a blog!! I'm still a little unsure about the whole thing... I'm not so great at figuring out things like this, and I can't really can't think of anyone who might even want to read about us! We've got to be the most boring people on the face of the earth!
I'm sure I'll eventually learn my way around it - with Kristyn's help - so bear with me!! Hopefully I can keep you informed of what's going on in our lives and post updates of our upcoming new addition, Jackson Wyatt - 6 days to go (unless he decides to come on his own)!! Wish us luck!!
